Alirajpur Mass Suicide: Residents in Madhya Pradesh’s Alirajpur district are shocked after discovering a couple and their three children hanging. Six years ago, on the same date of July 1st, a family in Delhi’s Burari was found hanging in a similar manner.
Alirajpur Mass Suicide: On Monday, panic erupted in Madhya Pradesh’s Alirajpur district when five members of a family were found hanging inside their home. This case is eerily similar to the Burari Mass Suicide Case in Delhi, which also occurred on July 1st, six years ago. The same date and the similar method of death have led to suspicions of occult practices being involved in the Madhya Pradesh case as well. However, the police have not confirmed anything yet. Madhya Pradesh police have taken all five bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem. A forensic team has also been called to the scene. Officials say that only after examining all the evidence and receiving the post-mortem report will it be possible to determine whether this was a case of murder or suicide.
Husband, Wife, and 3 Children Found Dead in Shocking Family Tragedy
This horrific incident occurred in Ravdi village of Sondwa police station area in Alirajpur district. The deceased have been identified as the head of the household, Rakesh, his wife Lalita, daughter Lakshmi, and two sons, Akshay and Prakash. Relatives who arrived at the scene suggested that it might be a case of murder rather than suicide, prompting the police to investigate from all angles. Alirajpur SP Rajesh Vyas himself has visited the site and conducted an investigation with the forensic team. The SP is personally speaking with all the relatives of the deceased.
Bodies Found Hanging Upon Uncle’s Arrival
The news of Rakesh and his family’s suicide came to light on Monday morning when his uncle arrived at their house. Upon seeing the bodies hanging, he informed everyone. Villagers have told the police that Rakesh never mentioned any problems that would lead them to commit suicide.
In the Burari Murder Case, 10 Family Members Were Also Found Hanging in a Similar Manner
Six years ago, on July 1, 2018, in Delhi’s Burari, the bodies of 10 family members were found hanging in a similar manner. The Chundawat family, known as the Bhatia family, had their eldest member, the grandmother, strangled to death. The family committed suicide exactly at midnight on June 30, 2018. Their bodies were discovered on the morning of July 1. After a lengthy investigation, Delhi Police claimed that the head of the family, Lalit Bhatia, forced all the members to hang themselves as part of a specific occult ritual.
